Newfoundland Ferry Pricing - not included in tour price

Itinerary Route Map Pricing and Schedule

The price of our tours does NOT include the ferry crossing from North Sydney, Nova Scotia to Port aux Basque, Newfoundland or the return trip. The cost for this ferry crossing is dependent on the total length of your rig including any towed vehicle. Use the following information, based on the current published ferry rates, to estimate your additional tour cost. The following rates are quoted in Canadian dollars.

In addition, there is a $28.75 ($26.25 for senior citizens 65+) fee per passenger. Adventure Treks will make your reservation and post a $25 deposit for you. You will be responsible for paying the additional passenger fare plus the fare for your rig (less the $25 deposit made by us on your behalf) at the time of the ferry crossing. All vehicle and passenger fares are subject to a fuel surcharge.  Fuel surcharge is adjusted annually and is currently set at 19.7%. Prince Edward Island Ferry Pricing - not included in tour price

We travel to Prince Edward Island over the Confederation Bridge. There is no fee for traveling to the island. A fee is assessed when leaving the island. We leave the island via the Wood Island to Caribou Ferry. The following rates are quoted in Canadian dollars.

Up to and including 20' $64.00
Over 21' to 40' $85.00
Over 40' $103.00

In addition, there is a $16.00 ($14.00 for senior citizens 60+) fee per passenger. There are no reservations available for this ferry. Boarding is on a first-arrive, first-depart basis. You will be responsible for paying the passenger fare plus the fare for your rig. This is a one-way trip cost to you since no fee is assessed traveling to Prince Edward Island.
