Alaska Add-on tours

Our standard tours provide a full tour of Alaska. However, some of our guests have expressed a desire to experience some extraordinary adventures. We offer the following tours which can be added to any Alaska RV Caravan Tour at additional cost. Please note that Add-on Tours are not refundable after your final payment date unless cancelled by the vendor (for example: due to poor weather). *Rates subject to change until paid in full.
Bear Viewing Day Trip
$1050 per person* 2026 Rate
This scenic flight takes you to the western coast of Cook Inlet. Bear viewing, flight seeing, glaciers, volcanoes, salmon, wildlife...this trip offers it all.  Witness Alaska brown bears as they fish for migrating salmon. Our guide allows us to approach safely for those up-close photo opportunities. Mid-June through Mid-August are the best times to view bears. Tour includes pilot/guide experienced in bear behavior. Duration – half day.
Journey Above the Arctic Circle
$629 per person* 2026 rate
A narrated journey to Bush Alaska, where the Yukon River crosses above the Arctic Circle. Guides show you contemporary life in the Native Village of Fort Yukon. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the White Mountains and Yukon Flats from the window seat of your twin-engine aircraft. Fly over Fort Knox Gold Mine, the largest open pit gold mine in North America. Duration is approximately 4 hours.
​Brooks Range, Gates of the Arctic National Park

Ancient mountains, arctic tundra, native culture, come together for a truly memorable Arctic Journey, far above the Arctic Circle. The Brooks Range is one of the most remote regions in the world. Fly with modern day bush pilots and experience how Alaskans travel and live above the Arctic Circle where there are no roads. Enjoy spectacular scenery from the aircraft, flying over the Alaska Oil Pipeline, across the Yukon River and into Gates of the Arctic National Park. Land 60 miles north of the Arctic Circle at a community in the Brooks Mountain Range. Duration 7p to midnight remember the sun does not set so this will be in daylight!
Grand Denali Summit Tour

The definitive tour of Denali that covers more of the Alaska Range than any other tour available. An unforgettable experience that includes the many faces of North America’s tallest mountain.
  • See the Great Gorge of the Ruth Glacier, mile high granite walls filled with a 4,000 foot thick river of ice, and the deepest canyon in North America
  • Follow the river systems of Talkeetna across the Susitna Valley into an incredible landscape of icefalls, glaciers and snowy peaks.
  • Cross over the Alaska Range and witness the arctic alpine tundra of the north side of Denali National Park’s remote interior
  • The Wickersham Wall of Denali – the greatest continual vertical relief in the world
Duration is 1.5 hours approximately.
Salmon and Halibut Fishing in Homer, AK
$540 per person* 2026 rate
A full-day (7a-3p), guided fishing expedition for salmon and halibut. All tackle and bait is provided and the deck hands are eager to assist you in reeling in your catch. Nearby packers can fast-freeze and ship your catch anywhere in the US. Duration is all-day. Please note that salmon fishing is dependent on natural migration patterns. On some of our tour dates salmon fishing may not be possible.
